New US Bank Visa™ card program
State Agencies: By the end of 2008, all State Agency programs should have transitioned to the US Bank program. Some State Agencies may still be working with US Bank regarding various aspects of your implementation. If you have questions regarding your program, you may either contact Neva Peckham at npeckha@ga.wa.gov or see the US Bank contact link below.
Universities/Colleges/Technical Schools: Your programs should be in current or completed transition status. The custom extract file to integrate with FMS financial system is ready and available for use. If you have not received a communication from US Bank to begin transition, please contact Neva Peckham at npeckha@ga.wa.gov.
School Districts: All School Districts should have been contacted by US Bank to submit required paperwork to begin program transition. If you intend to join the Washington State WSCA Pcard contract, and have not been contacted, please let Neva Peckham know at npeckha@ga.wa.gov. If your program is a WSIPC member and uses (WISE) or (WESPaC) financial systems, the custom extracts are complete and available for use. Additionally, we are currently developing a custom extract to work with the IFAS financial system.
Political Subdivisions: If you plan to transition to US Bank and have not submitted paperwork, please do so immediately, see instructions link below. Please note in order to be up and running with US Bank by October 2009, when the current Pcard contract is terminated, you must have your paperwork submitted no later then May 31, 2009. Questions may be directed to Neva Peckham at npeckha@ga.wa.gov.
USBank Software Enhancement Updates
User Profile Set Up & Maintenance
A user profile gives a client the ability to log into and use Access Online. By utilizing User Profile Setup and Maintenance a program administrator will have immediate access to create and edit cardholder information and manage account user profiles. Not only does the new functionality expedite both the setup and maintenance process for program administrators, but it also provides users immediate access to the organization’s payment solutions.
Effective Dating
This latest piece of functionality provides program administrators the ability to schedule dates for account maintenance changes. Both temporary and permanent adjustments can be made in advance, thus eliminating the need to track changes with manual reminders and reducing the number of errors.
If you are interested in utilizing either of the Access Online functionality enhancements previewed here, simply contact your U.S. Bank Relationship Manager/Account Manager. Learn more about the functionality now on our U.S. Bank Access Online web-based training (WBT) site at https://wbt.access.usbank.com.

Rebate Data Summary

The Washington State Purchasing Card Program continues to grow. The 2008 rebate data for all customers participating in the State Purchasing Card Program is now available. As budget challenges increase, the need to cut costs is even more important. The Purchasing Card Program is an excellent way to help meet this need. Under the new USBank contract, the average percentage received statewide was 1.185 on the total volume spent. For more information about how you can increase your internal purchasing efficiencies and receive a quarterly rebate, contact Neva Peckham at npeckha@ga.wa.gov or (360) 902-7425. - 2009 1st
