Buy alternative-fuel vehicles through state contract

State and local governments that obtain grants through the federal stimulus program may buy alternative-fuel vehicles through the state vehicle contract. Rebates are available for some hybrid models. To use the contract, state and local governments must be members of the state purchasing cooperative.
