Energy Use Report

About this report

RCW 19.27A.190 required state agencies, colleges and universities to benchmark their buildings in ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager, and required Enterprise Services to post the results for public viewing. The list of state agencies, colleges and universities on this page is linked to a report for each one. Click on the agency or college name to see the report.

The Current Site Energy Use Intensity (EUI) is the annual energy use of each building per square foot. If the building is on a campus with shared utilities, and is not yet individually metered, the EUI is the average for the campus. The National Average Site Energy Use Intensity (EUI) is the average energy use of a similar building type in the EIA Commercial Buildings Energy Consumption Survey (CBECS). The National Average EUI is useful as a rough comparison, although buildings with unique energy demands may vary from the average. The ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager Current Rating (1-100) will be shown if the building is separately metered, and is an ENERGY STAR rated building type (e.g., offices, dormitories, data centers, retail stores, warehouses). A rating of 75 or more indicates the building is performing in the top 25% of efficiency for that building type. For more about building ratings, go to EPA’s Criteria for Rating Building Energy Performance.

If no buildings are shown in the report, or if buildings are missing from the report, the agency or college may not have completed benchmarking. This webpage will be updated periodically as more buildings are added.

Unless otherwise specified, reports are in Microsoft Excel Microsoft Excel Icon format.
