Our services
Scanning & indexing
Digitizing moves your facility into a paperless environment, eliminating file cabinets and plan holders that take up precious office space. Indexing allows efficient retrieval of data.
Hyperlinking
Add intelligence to your documents. Drawing schedules are hyperlinked to corresponding O&M Manuals, allowing a seamless process of locating problems and implementing solutions.
Archiving
Storing documents digitally allows easy duplication, printing, and transmittal.
Restoration
Any sheets that are no longer in good shape can be mended and then digitized.
System customization
The Buildings on a Disc system is customized to fit the exact needs of your facility and maintenance staff. You decide the extent and scope of the process and dictate how the documents will be indexed to match your work flow.
Image index database support
Have a image index database designed and implemented to provide you with the ability to store, search and locate thousands of paper documents. This is ideal for digitizing file cabinets full or unrelated documents. The database uses off the shelf programs such as Microsoft Access, so you don’t have to purchase expensive additional software.
Optical character recognition (OCR)
Optical character recognition allows your paper documents to become searchable. Documents can be scanned into word processing software (i.e. MS Word) for easy editing.
Emergency responder maps and plans
Digitize evacuation plans for use during emergency situations. Hyperlinking between plans, panel schedules, digital photos, etc, and emergency shut-offs allows for rapid response. Security features such as password protection and data encryption are also available to protect sensitive information.
